Custom Stamp Terms and Conditions

Thank you for purchasing from our custom stamp collection! To provide clarity and transparency, we’ve outlined the following terms regarding our designs and purchase options:

  1. Ownership of Designs All designs in our custom stamp collection are exclusively created and owned by us. This includes all variations of "Handmade by" stamps with personalized names. We retain full rights to reproduce, modify, and resell these designs as described below.

  2. First Name Customization and Resale When you order a custom stamp with your first name, we create the stamp using our original design process. Following your purchase, the same design may be offered for resale with the same name (e.g., "Handmade by Toby"), but at a reduced price for others to purchase.

    • This resale option applies only to our designs.

    • No personal information beyond a first name is included in the designs offered for resale.

    • Business names, addresses, or other sensitive information will not be resold or shared.

  3. Customization Policy Stamps listed for resale are sold as-is, based on the original design. However, we love helping you personalize your stamps! You can request modifications such as font adjustments, additional details, or even adding images. Slight changes, such as font adjustments, are free of charge. Larger requests may incur a small fee. These changes can be made at the time of purchase or by contacting us for a design update after your order. We take pride in making your stamps truly unique.

    Once your order is placed, we will send a preview of the design to the email address provided as soon as possible. Customers have 7 days to review and respond with any changes. If we do not hear back within this time frame, all designs will be considered final unless there is an error on our end (e.g., spelling mistakes). This grace period for responses may impact the overall shipping timeline.

  4. Design Reuse Policy Only basic designs, such as "Handmade by" stamps with a first name, remain part of our collection. Designs containing business logos, addresses, or other sensitive information are excluded from this policy. Exclusive ownership of a design is not available for basic designs, ensuring that we can continue offering our unique creations to all customers.

  5. Notification of New Designs We periodically notify customers of new designs available for purchase. For example, if a design featuring your name becomes available, we may reach out via email to inform you of its availability.

  6. Quality and Production Each stamp is crafted using a high-quality magnesium plate and a matrix board mold, ensuring durability and precision. To produce these stamps, we fill an 8x9 canvas with as much custom stamp artwork as possible before creating the metal plate. This production process can take up to 35 days to complete and ship. Please note that holidays or other unforeseen circumstances may cause slight delays.

  7. Image Usage Policy Customers may provide images for custom stamps, but it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the images comply with copyright laws. We reserve the right to refuse any images that violate copyright or trademark policies.

  8. Custom Designs We offer custom design services for an additional fee of $10. This includes up to 3-5 revisions based on the complexity of the design. The final design will be subject to the same reuse policy outlined above.

  9. Refund and Replacement Policy We will replace stamps with physical defects such as rubber or foam issues at no additional cost. Spelling mistakes or size errors caused by the customer are not eligible for refund or replacement. For eligible replacements, please contact us via email at nic@unitystampco.com.
